Bowie Gridley Architects (BGA) is pleased to announce that Steven C. Yates, Assoc. AIA has joined the firm as Director of Development. Yates brings almost 15 years of professional experience in business development, marketing, and communications within the architecture profession. He joins from the Washington, DC, office of Perkins Eastman, where he most recently served as the firm’s director of communications. In his new role at BGA, Yates will facilitate the firm’s continued success in the planning and design of schools, community facilities, and cultural institutions.

Yates is a member of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and is an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He received a BS in Architecture from Kent State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
