The renovated Woodrow Wilson Library in Falls Church, VA received LEED-NC Gold certification with 60 points. Access to transit, water efficiency, and indoor environmental quality all contributed to the rating. Material selection included significant recycled content and reuse of some existing materials were also recognized. This innovative neighborhood library is a light-filled, healthy community amenity for residents to gather for enjoyment, learning, and collaboration.
